SMILE TI offers online courses to support behavioral health providers through personal and professional mindfulness-based programming. The overarching goal is to combat widely recognized risk factors for mental health professionals including stress, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and job burnout. We have a range of course offerings for individual clinicians, clinical teams, and mental health agencies seeking to establish a workplace culture of wellness. Complicated clients, exposure to secondary trauma, heavy caseloads and documentation requirements are just some of the daily challenges. Stress manifests in a variety of ways including difficulty disengaging from work, poor eating and sleeping habits, muscle tension, exhaustion, self- criticism, depression and anxiety. Although we all understand the importance of self-care practices for long-term health and wellbeing, in reality most of us are not trained to manage the stress that arises regularly in our day-to day professional lives. MANAGE OVERWHELM

Short Course - We are offering a 50% discount on this Course to support Therapists during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

When we feel overwhelmed, escape often feels like the only solution. This course explores common misconceptions about overwhelm, breaks down the experience so you understand what's actually happening, and introduces you to simple practices to reduce your overwhelm whenever it arises. This course can be completed in less than an hour and is an excellent introduction to using informal mindfulness methods to reduce stress in work and life. This course is not currently eligible for CE Credit.
